Linda Vegher, LMT, is a Virginia-based equine sportsmassage therapist who practices the Wilson Meagher Method™. Linda first met Jo-Ann Wilson, the equine team physio at the 2000 Sydney Olympics. She was amazed by this profound method; it was extremely effective, and immediately muscles would change!
Fast forward to 2016, when Linda attended one of the first intensive programs offered by Jo-Ann, teaching this Wilson Meagher Method ™ of Sportsmassage. As of 2022, Linda became Jo-Ann's affiliate and assists in teaching the Practitioner of Technical Skills in Equine Sportsmassage" classes. She also has represented Jo-Ann at the World Equestrian Games in Pratoni, Italy 2022 and has continued as the equine physio for The Pan Am Games, Santiago, Chile 2023 and The Olympics, Paris 2024. She studied at The Potomac Massage Therapy Institute in Silver Spring, MD.

The Wilson Meagher Method™ has been scientifically researched through a grant awarded by the former American Massage Therapy Association Foundation, currently the Massage Therapy Foundation. These techniques generated significant changes in muscle tissue, improving gait dynamics and an increase in the length of stride. The study can be found here "The Effects of Sports Massage on Athletic Performance and General Function" by Jo-Ann Wilson.
The Wilson Meagher Method™ is the most anatomically accurate therapy. It uses anatomy and physiology, combined with three techniques. Using gait analysis and the rider’s identification of performance problems is also included in the sportsmassage session.
